Sam is fully qualified and holds a Diploma in counselling and a Bachelor of Applied Social Sciences/Counselling and is a member of PACFA.

Sam has been working in the community supporting individuals and families including young children, youth, women and families. Sam’s passions are helping women to find joy and happiness and she has a thriving interest to empower women to find their purpose for living a fulfilled life. Sam’s counselling approaches are holistic and are derived from a Person-Centered philosophy which see the client as the expert of their own lives. Sam also creatively combines integrative therapy approach’s which interweave other modalities such as Narrative therapy, Cognitive Behavioural therapy and Solution Focused Brief therapy to help her clients through difficult times. 

Sam’s other passions lay in nature and hiking which led Sam on the path of combining her love of counselling and hiking to help her clients to grow and prosper and work through issues of anxiety, depression and limiting belief systems in a more nurturing environment such as nature. Sam initially became a counsellor because she was driven to help people in mental health distress, and along the way, Sam discovered her own personal freedoms through talk therapy and now wants to share her love of personal growth and healing with her clients.
