Manuela King

Maneula KingManuela graduated in 2010 as a Remedial Massage Therapist from Paramount College in Perth.  Since then she has extended her knowledge to offer professional help for people who suffer from chronic illnesses.  Manuela did her postgraduate training in Oncology Massage through the nationally accredited 'Oncology Massage Training' which led her further into studying Manual Lymphatic Drainage with the internationally acclaimed ' Dr Vodder Akademie' where she graduated at the Vodder Clinic in Austria in 2014.

She then studied SCENAR with RITM Australia where she completed all 3 levels of SCENAR therapy and became the trainer for WA in 2018.

Manuela will assess the person's needs depending on the presenting medical history and may combine various modalities to achieve the best possible outcome.

"I believe that any therapy is most effective when science and intuition are combined to achieve an individual approach for each person.  No two people are the same, therefore no two treatments should be the same.  A deep tissue massage can be wonderful for one person yet for another, it can have an undesired effect.  It is up to the person and the therapist to find techniques that suit and can be helpful in dealing with specific health challenges."

Reflexology is a science based on the principle that reflex areas in the feet, hands and ears relate to the internal organs and other structures of the body. In reflexology pressure is applied to these reflex areas to bring health and balance to the body through the stimulation of its own inherent healing capacity.

Her dedication and caring nature extends into her values of day to day life.

Dr Sarah Hammond

Dr Sarah Hammond
M. Tech. Chiro, SA

Dr Sarah Hammond graduated from Technikon Natal in Durbin, South Africa in 1999. Sarah then went on to work in the United Kingdom for 10 years, where she built up a very busy practice with many extremely happy patients. During this time, she completed post graduate studies in the use of Sacro-Occipital Technique (S.O.T.), specializing in the treatment of pregnant ladies and children.

She joined Hills Natural Health Centre in September 2009. She is well known within the community and has had great success with treating all ages and genders; particularly children, babies and pregnant women.

Sarah understands the important aspects of normal cranial function, using minimal force, in relation to Pelvic Alignment in order to minimize nerve malfunction and maintain good overall health. Sarah achieves this by correcting Cranial Stress, Facial Distortion, T.M.J. Dysfunction and Structural/Pelvic Imbalance.

She enjoys her current life with her daughter within the Hills community and looks forward to continuing to provide help to her patients.

Dr Richard Lee

B.Chiro, B.Sc. (Chiro)

Richard studied Chiropractic at Murdoch University and had the privilege to join Hills Natural Health Centre after graduation. He loves the community and the spirit of the Hills and recently decided to make a big leap of faith and commit to the clinic for many years to come.

Richard has a passion for nutrition, health and fitness and prior to obtaining his Chiropractic degree had many years of experience in the health and fitness industry. This has helped him to gain the necessary experience to restore and to detect structural distortions (which are a compensation of the body to stress). He has great understanding of how stressors (physical, chemical and emotional) may interfere with the central nervous system and lead to health problems.

Richard looks at the whole body not specific joints or muscles. He uses Sacro-Occipital Techniques (S.O.T.) which works very quickly to reduce pain and put your body on the road to recovery. Years of training has been put in to ensuring that SOT is a safe, gentle and very effective technique. He also uses other modalities such as; Manual Adjustment, Activator Method, Neural Organisation Technique, Soft Tissue Therapy (Gua Sha – similar to Graston Technique), Organic Reflexology, Kinesio Therapeutic Taping Technique and Physical Rehabilitation. Richard can work with you to tailor a program to suit your specific needs.

Richard is a truly caring and nurturing person and you will instantly feel at ease with him. He strives for Excellency in his work and this has built him a good reputation within the community. He loves music and sings with the church choir. He loves a joke and enjoys a good laugh. Richard’s vision is to be the Greatest Healer and to make alternative and natural health therapy accessible and affordable to everyone.
