A multidisciplinary approach to holistic health
Nutrition
A Nutritionist is a university-qualified health professional who works with clients to improve their dietary pattern and lifestyle to promote long term positive health outcomes.
Using evidence-based strategies, a Nutritionist will support clients with their own personal goals, whether that be to simply feel more energised, prevent lifestyle conditions (e.g. high cholesterol, diabetes, gut isseus), improve metabolic function, improve cardiovascular health or prevent nutrient deficiencies.
A nutritionist can also improve their client’s relationship with food, and conduct dietary assessments to assess for nutritional gaps.
Meet our Nutritionist
Katie Flack
Nutritionist
Katie is a registered Nutritionist who is committed to, and thoroughly enjoys, empowering her clients to feel their best using evidence-based nutrition strategies. Katie is from Hobart, and since finishing her nutrition sciences degree in 2020, she has been working in a range of areas including private practice, NDIS support (meal planning, general nutrition support for neurodivergent clients), athlete development, and providing nutrition seminars and webinars.
Katie has been an avid food (and baking) lover as long as she can remember. Growing up as an athletic young person, she understood the importance of fuelling. This led to her curiosity around nutrition, and the way it affects our bodies day to day. Katie’s style is warm, empathetic, with a sense of humour, and does not want your eating pattern to feel boring.
Katie uses a gentle, non-diet approach to nutrition, She helps you to understand that food can genuinely be medicine, and wants you to eat with an abundance mindset, not a restrictive one. Her approach is grounded in mindful and intuitive eating practices, which in turn can assist with symptoms of irritable bowel or poor digestion.
