Dip. Remedial Massage, Lymphoedema Therapist (Dr Vodder CDT)
Australian Association of Massage Therapists (AAMT)
Private Health Fund Provider
Kuniko has been qualified as a Remedial Massage therapist since 2014 and since then has enjoyed helping clients by relieving their pain, increasing their range of motion, and improving their quality of life through massage.
Her goal is to achieve efficient and effective results through engaging with soft tissue and by therapeutically applying light or firm pressure leading to ultimate relaxation.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) & Lymphoedema Therapy (CDT)
· For general Oedema – can be for surgeries like knee/hip replacements for faster recovery
· For secondary Lymphoedema after surgeries where Lymph nodes/vessels have been removed ( ie mastectomy and lymph node dissection)
· Primary Lymphoedemas
· MLD can also be helpful whilst doing a detox or just to give the Lymph system a “bit of a boost”.
This technique is very gentle due to the focus on Lymph pathways.
Various techniques like Deep Tissue and Trigger Point therapy are used to treat muscles tension. It is for people who like a deeper massage, whether it is injury management or personal preference.
A great way to finish your week or reward yourself for all your hard work. A one hour massage that will leave you feeling totally calm and relaxed.
